VisaBot, AgendaVisaBot and Visagente: prices and coverage compared
Three services in Colombia do the same thing: watch the consulate portal and reschedule your appointment when an earlier date appears, charging only if they succeed. They are VisaBot, AgendaVisaBot and Visagente.
We are writing this knowing we are one of the three. So there are no adjectives about the other two here, only what each one publishes on its own website, with the date it was checked. If something changes, this article changes.

All three agree on what matters most to a customer: nothing is paid before the result. The difference is the price per day and, above all, how each one counts companions.

AgendaVisaBot puts it this way on its site: the cost is worked out by multiplying 800 by the number of days the appointment is moved forward, by the number of people in the group. In other words, the full rate for every person.
VisaBot charges the full rate for the main applicant and half for each companion, because the search is a single search: the bot does not work three times as hard to watch an appointment for three.
Visagente publishes its per-day rate without mentioning companions. If you are travelling as a group, ask them before deciding.
Where each one operates
VisaBot and AgendaVisaBot publish pages for Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala and Honduras.
Visagente states in its FAQ that its service is optimised for B1/B2 US visa appointments at the Bogotá consulate, and that it is working on expanding.
If your appointment is in Bogotá and it is B1/B2 — the majority case in Colombia — all three serve you, and coverage should not weigh on your decision. If your case is in another country or another visa type, it should.
Where the others are better
A comparison where one side wins everything is no use to anyone. Two honest points:
Visagente is more focused. It works one consulate and one visa type. Specialisation has real advantages, and its site explains the process in more detail than most.
AgendaVisaBot has been visible for longer. It has a considerably larger public following than ours, and for someone about to hand over their consular portal credentials, that counts.
What to look at besides price
- That the charge is on results, and that it is written down. All three meet this; many full-service agencies do not.
- What happens to your portal credentials. You are handing over access to your case. Ask how they are stored and what happens when the service ends.
- How they notify you. A slot is taken within minutes. If you find out the next day, it does not matter who found it.
- That nobody promises you the visa. These services move the interview date. The decision on your visa belongs to the consular officer, and no bot influences it. If someone promises you approval, that is the reason not to hire them.
How to choose
If you are travelling alone and your appointment is in Bogotá, all three do the same thing and the difference is the price per day.
If several of you are travelling, the arithmetic changes a lot. Check how each one counts companions before deciding, because that is where a 200-peso difference per day turns into hundreds of thousands.
